Empowering Learners
Clear Answers. Compassionate Support. Real Progress.
At Dyslexia Nottingham, we believe every child deserves to feel capable, understood, and supported. Our mission is simple: to empower families through expert assessments, tailored support, and genuine care, helping children unlock their potential, one word at a time.
We’re not a faceless organisation. We’re a founder-led, people-first service committed to offering clarity and confidence to families navigating literacy challenges. From the first enquiry to the final report, we focus on compassion, transparency, and expertise, because we know what’s at stake for your child, and we care.
Our Story: From the Classroom to Specialist Support
Hi, I’m Faye, founder of Dyslexia Nottingham. I’ve spent over 15 years in education, working across classrooms, SEND departments, and one-to-one tutoring. As a qualified AMBDA-accredited dyslexia assessor and specialist teacher, I’ve seen first-hand how literacy difficulties impact not just learning, but self-esteem and everyday life.
I started Dyslexia Nottingham because I saw too many families stuck in limbo, worried about their child, confused by school systems, and unsure who to trust. They didn’t need vague advice or generic support. They needed clear, reliable answers, compassionate guidance, and a plan that works for their child.
That’s what I offer here.
Every assessment I deliver is thorough, tailored, and recognised, valid for life. But more than that, I aim to offer a calm, reassuring experience, ensuring you feel informed, supported, and empowered at every step.
